Sherrie Gould, NP-C, CMRD

FOUNDER, CO-OWNER
Sherrie Gould, MSN, NP-C, is a nationally credentialed nurse practitioner specializing in Movement Disorders at NeuroMotion Telehealth. With over 19 years of experience, she is deeply committed to caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, as well as supporting the families who care for them.

Sherrie has served as faculty for both pharmaceutical and deep brain stimulation (DBS) device companies, playing a significant role in educating clinicians and patients nationwide. She has organized conferences, cruises, and international hikes designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s and their families—bringing education, connection, and empowerment beyond the clinic.

In addition to her clinical work, Sherrie is actively involved in Parkinson’s disease research, particularly exploring the use of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as a potential long-term therapy. She holds a Certified Movement Disorders Specialist designation (NP CMRD), underscoring her dedication to advancing care in this specialized field.

Kelly Papesh, DNP, CMRD

Kelly Papesh is a doctorally-trained and board-certified family nurse practitioner. After completing her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, she completed a Master of Science in nursing and a doctorate in nursing practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. She has extensive experience as an advanced practice provider (APP) in neurology and patient case management, with over five years of experience specializing in movement disorders.

Jill Farmer, DO, MPH, FCPP, DipABLM

Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Drexel College of Medicine and Owner and Founder of Boro Neurology, LLC in Hopewell, NJ

Dr. Farmer completed medical school at UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic medicine and her residency and fellowship at Georgetown University.  She is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Drexel College of Medicine and Owner and Founder of Boro Neurology, LLC in Hopewell, NJ. Her clinical interests include Parkinson’s Disease medical and surgical management, botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and spasticity and functional movement disorders.  Her research interests include telemedicine, the emotional and environmental impacts on neurodegenerative disease, continuous infusion therapies for Parkinson’s and the utility of wearable devices in managing motor symptoms.  She developed the Delaware Valley Regional Movement Disorder Meeting partnering with industry to fund a quarterly educational event for movement disorder specialists and their teams across the academic institutions and hospital systems of the Delaware Valley, now in its 7th year. She serves on the editorial board of Practical Neurology and Neurology Live for their movement disorder section. She is on the advisory board for the Cannabis Education Research Institute with a special focus on the use of medical marijuana in Parkinson’s Disease. For the past 4 years, Dr. Farmer is the Co-administrator for the Women Neurologist Group which she helped grow to over 4000 members bringing together an international group of women neurologists from residency through retirement.  She is a past President of the Philadelphia Neurological Society, the only one to serve two consecutive terms from 2019-2021 and one of only a handful of women in its 140 year history.

Zoltan Mari, MD, FAAN

Ruvo Family Chair and Director, Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Program • Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health

Dr. Mari is the Ruvo Family Chair & Director of the Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders Program at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Mari is the immediate past Chair of the Movement Disorder Society’s Telemedicine Study Group, Chair of the Parkinson Study Group’s Motor Working Group, and Associate Editor of the Parkinsonism and Related Disorders journal.

Previously at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Mari was the director of the movement disorder clinical fellowship training program, the DBS Center, the Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, the Dystonia Center, and the Parkinson’s & Movement Disorder Center. Since his 2017 transition to the Ruvo Center, Dr. Mari helped establish the Movement Disorder Clinical Fellowship program, which he directs. Dr. Mari also directs the CurePSP’s Center of Care (Director) and Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence there – all first and only in the state of Nevada.

Dr. Mari authored 140 peer-reviewed papers, several book chapters, and patents. He has served as PI
or AI on dozens of studies in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

Maria Cristina Ospina

Dr. Ospina is a movement disorders neurologist in private practice.

Dr. Ospina is a movement disorders neurologist in private practice. During her medical career Dr. Ospina has been active in medical research, participating in several NIH and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. She has served as an investigator in the Parkinson Study Group as well as an invited speaker on a variety of topics related to movement disorders. She is trained in both the administration of botulinum toxin for dystonia, and the use of Deep Brain Stimulation and pumps in Parkinson’s disease. She believes in utilizing complementary modalities in Parkinson care and is an advocate for exercise to improve gait, flexibility and mood.

Aaron Ritter, MD

Director, Memory & Cognitive Disorders Program; Hoag • Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute

Dr. Ritter directs the Memory & Cognitive Disorders Program in Hoag’s Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute. Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Arizona and a two-year clinical/research fellowship in behavioral neurology with a focus on dementia at Cleveland Clinic.

A principal investigator on dozens of research studies and clinical trials, Dr. Ritter has received extramural funding from the National Institutes of Health and Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, among others. Before joining Hoag, he was on staff at the Cleveland Clinic for 8 years. Dr. Ritter has authored or co-authored peer-reviewed manuscripts, delivered clinical presentations and keynote addresses, and contributed to textbooks on Alzheimer’s and dementia. His commentary has appeared in the New York Times, ESPN, and WebMD. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado.
